This Privacy Policy explains how PECK INVESTMENTS LLC ("Maywood U-Store-It," "we," "us") handles personal information about people who rent storage from us, use this website or our tenant portal, or receive text messages from us.

1. Information we collect

• your name, mailing address, email address, and phone number;
• your unit, rental agreement, gate code, and account and payment history;
• payment details, which our payment processor handles — we do not store full card numbers;
• your communication preferences, including whether and when you turned on text messages.

2. How we use it

• to rent you a unit and manage your rental;
• to take payments and send receipts, reminders, and account notices;
• to give you access to the tenant portal;
• to comply with the law and enforce our rental agreement.

We do not sell your personal information.

3. Text messages (SMS)

Maywood U-Store-It sends account and service text messages about your own unit — such as payment receipts, rent reminders, past-due notices, and autopay alerts — to tenants who choose to receive them. We do not send marketing texts.

• Opting in. Texting is optional and off by default. You turn it on yourself in our tenant portal: open Notifications, check "Text messages (SMS)", and save. It is never required to rent a unit, to pay, or to sign a rental agreement. Replying START only resumes texts for someone who opted in that way and later turned texts off, by replying STOP or in the portal; it does not sign anyone up.
• Frequency and cost. Message frequency varies with your account activity. Message and data rates may apply.
• Opting out and help. Reply STOP at any time to stop texts, or HELP for help. You can also turn texts off in the tenant portal.

We do not sell or share your mobile number or your text messaging consent. Mobile phone numbers and SMS opt-in data are never shared with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent are not shared with any third parties, except the service providers listed below, which use them only to deliver our messages. Your consent covers Maywood U-Store-It's messages only and is never transferred to another business.

5. Security and retention

We protect personal information with reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards, including encrypted connections and encryption of sensitive tenant details at rest. We keep your information for as long as you rent from us and afterward as the law, our tax and accounting obligations, or our rental agreement require.

You can update your contact details and communication preferences in the tenant portal. To ask about, correct, or delete your personal information, contact us using the details below.

7. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed.
